SquaredUp has launched SquaredUp for Azure, said to be the first 360° application dashboards for Microsoft Azure.

SquaredUp for Azure solves the challenge of tool sprawl and spiralling cloud costs by offering real-time visibility of costs and performance, across every application, for every team and from every angle.

Designed for enterprises running on Azure and SaaS businesses running cloud-native applications, it gives IT professionals single-pane-of-glass monitoring and drilldowns for real-time insights into application availability, performance and costs. SquaredUp for Azure also offers native integrations with the Azure platform, as well as integrations with a wide range of IT Ops tools such as ServiceNow, Pingdom, Pager Duty, Splunk and New Relic.

According to a recent 451 Research survey, 39% of companies use between 11 and 30 different monitoring tools to maintain visibility of their cloud environments. Meanwhile, 64% of IT managers consider cloud cost optimization their top priority, acknowledging that over 27% of their cloud spend goes to waste, according to the RightScale 2019 State of the Cloud Report by Flexera.

“Our vision is to use data visualization to make the world’s most complex IT applications beautifully simple to run,” says Richard Benwell, Founder & CEO of SquaredUp. “Having successfully delivered that for users of Microsoft System Center, the launch of the new SquaredUp for Azure dashboard brings this vision to the Azure platform.”

Analyst firm Gartner estimates the global IT operations software market to reach $29 billion in 2019. SquaredUp believes that its ‘every app, every team, every angle’ strategy establishes the product as the go-to application monitoring dashboard for modern DevOps teams. It has already secured interest from customers and early adopters.

“We have used SquaredUp for many years. Their dashboard and extensibility capabilities really transformed how we do monitoring and dashboarding. SquaredUp for Azure lets us provide the same high-quality monitoring to our customers with workloads in Azure” says Martin Ehrnst, Microsoft MVP and Azure Technical Lead, Intility.

“SquaredUp has enabled us to make over 100 application dashboards available across the IT Services Department. The increased monitoring visibility has led to fewer incidents because we've caught issues before they became a problem that impacted a service.” Peter Aston, IT Systems Specialist, University of Birmingham.
