City of Glasgow College implements £228 million campus re-build

NetApp has been chosen by City of Glasgow College to revolutionise how technology functions within the institution. The installation places flexibility at the heart of the College’s infrastructure, using VDI technology to make classrooms multipurpose – adapting to be either a Computer Aided Design (CAD) classroom, a business studies classroom, or anything in between, without the need for additional technology resources.

Dailymotion trusts Scality

Dailymotion’s move to Scality RING was impelled by its requirements for high performance, boundless scalability, assured uptime, and intuitive administration controls.



NEC supplies TOP500 supercomputer to Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in Germany

NEC Deutschland GmbH has delivered an LX series supercomputer to Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU), one of Germany’s leading research universities and part of the German Gauss Alliance consortium of excellence in high-performance computing (HPC). The new HPC cluster ranks 65th in the most current TOP500 list of the fastest supercomputers in the world from November 2017 and 51st in the Green500 list of the most energy-efficient supercomputers.
