The Managed Services & Hosting Awards will build upon the momentum of the highly successful series of Managed Services & Hosting Summits, which have taken place in both London and Amsterdam over the past eight years and are now firmly established as the leading managed services channel events. The event’s co-organisers, IT Europa and Angel Business Communications, are launching the Managed Services & Hosting Awards to recognise excellence within what is now the fastest moving, most dynamic and innovative sector with the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries.

The inaugural MSH Awards will take place at the end of the UK Managed Services & Hosting Summit 2018 in London in September, providing a great way to bring to a close what promises to be another must-attend event.

The 2018 MSH Awards consists of seven broad categories, allowing both Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Vendors to receive recognition for their work in the managed services sector. The seven categories are:

Managed Services Provider Categories

Best Public Sector MSP Project - Open to any public sector MSP project that resulted in significant benefits to the end-user organisation with regard to one or more managed services.

Best Enterprise MSP Project - Open to any enterprise MSP project that resulted in significant benefits to the end-user organisation with regard to one or more managed services.

Best SMB MSP Project -Open to any small or medium sized business MSP project that resulted in significant benefits to the end-user organisation with regard to one or more managed services.

Most Innovative MSP - Open to any MSP that can demonstrate innovation in terms of, but not restricted to, the organisation’s ability to develop and support one or more managed service, the way in which the MSP has developed its role in the supply chain, fulfilling the trusted advisor link role between vendors and end users, and the way in which the MSP has transformed its own organisation in terms of sales, support and technology expertise.

Vendor Supplier Categories

Most Innovative Managed Service Solution - Open to any clearly innovative managed service solution – this could include the technology upon which the managed service is based and the way in which the service is delivered to the customer and subsequently supported.

Best Vertical Market Managed Service Solution - Open to any managed service solution that targets a particular industry sector – therefore the entry will need to explain how the solution has been developed specifically to meet a need within the relevant industry.

Best Cloud Platform-based Managed Service Solution - Open to any Cloud platform-based managed service solution – the likelihood is that the solution will be based around one or more of the hyperscale Cloud platforms, although, as the headings suggests, a solution based on any Cloud platform is acceptable.

The awards are open now and any MSP or vendor may submit an entry into as many relevant categories as they wish, completing an entry form for each submission (www.mshsummit.com/awards/enter ). Entries will be assessed by a judging committee comprising a range of independent industry experts, including editors from both IT Europa and Angel Business Communications, alongside highly respected analysts, consultants and industry association representatives – all with a major focus on the managed services sector. The closing date for entries is 24th August 2018.

The judging committee will draw up a shortlist of finalists which will be announced on 31st August 2018. It will also be published on the event website www.mshsummit.com/awards (including full details of their entries) and promoted across a range of media outlets. All shortlisted entrants will receive a Finalist Logo to use as they wish in the run up to the Awards presentation in September. The winners and Highly Commended will also receive logos to use as they wish after the event, publicity on the evening, photographs and an Awards Winners write-up on the website and in the Digitalisation World magazine, along with other, selected media outlets.

The Managed Services & Hosting Awards 2018 will be staged at the conclusion of the UK Managed Services and Hosting Summit 2018 which will take place at 155 Bishopsgate, London, on 19 September 2018. MSPs, resellers and integrators wishing to attend the convention and vendors, distributors or service providers interested in sponsorship opportunities can find further information at: www.mshsummit.com
