IMEG staff first to receive CNIDP Certification

IMEG is the first engineering consulting firm in the U.S. to obtain the Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional (CNIDP) certification from CNet Training. The new certification recognises demonstrated expertise in low voltage infrastructure design and project management.

“As we move into the Internet of Things era in buildings, our staff’s training and education is critically important to meeting our clients’ needs,” says Jeff Carpenter, IMEG Senior Principal. “We believe CNet Training’s approach answers an unmet need in our industry: allowing required recertification every three years to be conducted remotely. The online recertification process enables us to avoid spending finite education dollars on travel, and is reflective of CNet’s progressive thinking.”

CNet CEO Andrew Stevens says his firm works hard to “ensure the CNIDP content is up to the minute and relevant for the industry” and that successful completion is recognised by qualification bodies. “We continue to receive significant interest in the program and look forward to upcoming programs scheduled in Dallas, San Francisco and Chicago,” he adds. “I believe the interest in the program stems from our unique approach to industry education.

“We are delighted that the IMEG team has successfully completed the CNIDP and will now recognise it within their specifications.”
