Syneto and Infodip have announced a distribution agreement that will see Syneto’s new HYPERSeries 3000 hyperconverged platforms sold throughout France via Infodip’s data storage and video surveillance divisions.

Syneto’s partnership with Infodip, one of the country’s most reputable distributors, which also provides bespoke product integration including system configuration, cabling, racking and technical services is a key appointment for the vendor in France. The addition of Syneto’s solutions to Infodip’s portfolio, will help Syneto to expand its reach right across France, a key market in Europe. Syneto will replace several traditional mid-range storage array vendors within Infodip’s current product portfolio.

Syneto’s hyperconverged solutions will be offered through Infodip’s storage and integration division, which caters to the needs of (value added) resellers and system integrators, across an extensive range of vertical markets. Syneto will also form a key part of the Infodip security division’s product portfolio, fulfilling the storage requirements for its surveillance solutions.

Infodip’s leadership team was keen to expand the company’s product portfolio with a software-defined hyperconverged solution that includes a smart data services layer, integrated disaster recovery, file sharing and virtualisation. It was also key to identify a solution that is user-friendly and highly affordable.

“Our goal was to identify a European vendor with a highly reliable software-defined hyperconverged solution and our search ended when we identified Syneto. Its products enable us to provide our partners and customers with a hyperconverged infrastructure, which combines built-in back up and disaster recovery. Additionally, Syneto’s hyperconverged solutions reduce administration times, costs and the likelihood of data security breaches, and they shorten recovery times, all common problems and key concerns faced by end users today,” said Stephane Motillon, president at Infodip.

Infodip will provide Syneto’s hyperconverged infrastructure solutions to a wide range of vertical market sectors, including those where organisations are seeking to make use of technologies such as data pooling, snapshots, deduplication and compression. Infodip will offer Syneto’s products to companies in the manufacturing, education, finance, engineering, media, industrial, scientific and the public sectors, as well as larger enterprises in aviation, space exploration and transportation.

“Infodip is an incredibly well respected partner and has an unparalleled understanding of the French market. This partnership will help us to firmly establish our presence in France across numerous vertical sectors, with the added benefit of having access to Infodip’s incredible customer base,” said Rick Dudson, VP Sales EMEA at Syneto.
