Avaya launches “Powered by Avaya”

Avaya has launched its “Powered by Avaya” cloud offering, designed to address the growing needs of mid-market companies for cloud-based communications solutions. “Powered by Avaya” will be made available through wholesale distributors to their channel partners or through selected resellers to deliver solutions direct to their end-user customers.

The UK’s mid-sized businesses account for one-third of private-sector turnover, and added more jobs to the economy last year than smaller businesses and FTSE 350 companies combined, according to business advisory firm BDO. With the European cloud market predicted to climb at a compound annual growth rate of 23.2 percent, Avaya sees significant potential for channel partners that want to offer the same rich communications experiences customers expect from Avaya solutions delivered on-premises as cloud-based offerings.
The “Powered by Avaya” cloud offering enables channel partners to deliver Avaya’s unified communications (UC), contact centre (CC) and video conferencing (VC) solutions in the way that best meets their end-user customers’ needs. Avaya partners can offer a full range of solutions – on-premises, hybrid cloud or fully-hosted – and end-users can manage their migration to the cloud at their own pace.
“Powered by Avaya” has already been rolled out with selected Avaya channel partners in the UK, including Six Degrees Group, Formation Tech, and many more. Avaya partners who wish to host and maintain Avaya cloud services in their own data centres, can sell “Powered by Avaya” services directly to customers, with the option to wrap additional services around the core product, as well as continuing to sell the full portfolio of Avaya solutions.
Avaya is also working with key wholesale distribution partners to deliver a complete cloud solution for partners – including billing, provisioning, and other back-end systems. Channel partners will be able to focus on building innovative solutions for their end-user customers and deliver future-proof communications experiences
Ioan MacRae, UK Managing Director at Avaya, said: “The mid-market sector is the engine room of the UK economy, but is all too-often overlooked, with vendors either focusing on larger enterprise customers, or providing solutions that don’t deliver the scalability, resiliency, and flexibility mid-market customers are looking for. “Powered by Avaya” will give growing, mid-sized companies access to a robust business-grade cloud option with their UC, CC and video communications for the first time, with the same reliability and security expected by end-users and synonymous with the Avaya brand.”
