Crestchic launches trailered loadbanks

Crestchic, specialised loadbank manufacturer and rental company, has launched a trailered solution to the market to assist in the transportation of sizeable loadbanks.

In response to customers’ needs, Crestchic’s extensive range of loadbanks can now be supplied and mounted to a purpose-built trailer for loadbanks from 100kw to 2000kw. The company has partnered with Knott-Avonride for this new offering, a well-established company with a reputation for technological expertise and skill. The trailers supplied by Knott-Avonride are UK/EU road legal and available from stock with a cover for added protection. This new packaged solution adds to the existing frames and container units available from Crestchic.

Crestchic design and manufacture a wide range of loadbanks to provide accurate electrical loads for testing power sources. Specific voltage, frequency and connections requirements are available dependant on requirements and all loadbanks employ stainless steel finned elements for maximum heat dissipation and durability.

Paul Brickman, sales and marketing director at Crestchic explained: “We already offer a variety of packaged solutions for our loadbanks so adding trailers to our range was the natural next step.

Our loadbanks are used in many applications which can make transporting these sizable machines to and around a site difficult, whether that be a datacentre or a shipyard. With this new range, we hope to make our customers lives easy and save them money on transportation costs.”
