Cloudian HyperStore S3 Storage supported in Veritas Backup Exec 15

Veritas Technologies has included Cloudian HyperStore S3 connector support in its Feature Pack 5 for Backup Exec 15. Backup Exec 15 is a backup and recovery solution for mid-sized organisations across virtual, physical and cloud data sets.

The S3 connector in Feature Pack 5 enables seamless integration with storage appliances running Cloudian HyperStore. Backup Exec 15 records all metadata sent to and stored on HyperStore, and manages all the external backup sets to help organisations comply with data policy requirements for providing secure access to the data.
