Delivering up to 25% increased bundling productivity

Highly reliable, robust, ergonomic tool for maximum productivity.

Panduit has released its next-generation PAT 4.0 Automatic Cable Tie Installation System. The PAT 4.0 is designed to maximize bundling productivity with gains of up to 25% over other automatic cable tie systems and over six times the speed of manual cable tie methods.

This enhanced productivity is delivered via a light weight, ergonomic tool head capable of installing up to 84 cable ties per minute while reducing user fatigue and improving tool maneuverability.

The redesign of the tool dispenser features an innovative, user-friendly, touch-screen display with an icon-based menu that supports multiple languages. This simple, easy-to-use icon navigation allows users to quickly gain familiarity with the system to address quick setup/operation, ease of routine maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting tasks resulting in increased uptime. A 30% reduction in size over its predecessor frees up valuable work station real estate and improves system mobility.

“Observing and listening to the operational challenges of our wire harness customers, we were inspired to further enhance their productivity with a new system,” said Rami Mishal, Director of Product Development and Engineering for Panduit. “For the past year we have been working closely with our customers to design, build, and test our new PAT 4.0 System, and are seeing an overwhelming response from customer pre-launch trials.”
