Utility contract for Sudlows and Interserve

Interserve, working in partnership with Sudlows, has completed a contract to support a FTSE 100 utility company in the development and delivery of its data centre strategy. This is the latest in a number of key consultancy projects forged through an on-going collaboration between the data centre specialist and the international support services and construction group.

The appointment, secured through competitive tender, saw the two companies provide high level advice and technical support to shape the client’s current and future data centre requirements.

The combined expertise of Interserve and Sudlows gave a robust partner for the utility company, with the skills and up to date experience required in this specialist sector to ensure that the optimum outcome was achieved.

Ian Renhard, Managing Director of Interserve Construction said:

“We recognise that to be able to deliver with confidence on what are often termed ‘mission critical’ facilities we must ensure that the skill sets offered to our clients are focused on the specialist needs of their respective sectors. What makes this contract even more exciting is that it brings to life our recent accreditation to BS11000, ‘Collaborative Business Relationships’. We have been working with Sudlows for some time, bringing our skill sets together to support the data centre sector, and it’s great to see that a high profile client has recognised the value adding capabilities of our partnership.”

Andy Hirst, Technical Director of Sudlows said:

“The unique collaboration has already demonstrated strategic success in delivering projects across the UK. This latest data centre win confirms that by working with Interserve our enhanced capabilities offer our clients the added confidence and support needed when commissioning key contracts in this specialist sector.”
