In his new role, Tomkys will be responsible for driving sales across the region and overseeing field marketing and service delivery of projects within the UK & Ireland for both customers and partners.

Jim Beagle, President and Chief Executive Officer of BridgeHead Software comments: This promotion reflects the huge dedication and commitment that Tony has displayed over the last five years.  There is no doubt that the hard work that he and his team have put in has enabled us to achieve the visibility, recognition and customer engagement that we now enjoy. I expect 2016 will continue to see accelerated momentum and rapid growth of the business.”

Tony Tomkys comments: “It is a great privilege for me to take on this new role. I have been with BridgeHead Software for over five years and, in that time, we have built an enviable reputation in the healthcare data management space. We have grown our customer base significantly and have worked with both our customers and partners to develop innovative and strategic technologies that positively impact the healthcare landscape.

In my new position, one key goal will be to build and expand the company’s partner channel to ensure BridgeHead remains the healthcare data management provider of choice.  We will look to capitalise on new market opportunities presented by both the acute and primary healthcare sectors.”

Partnerships key to growth in EMEA and APAC
In addition to Tomkys’s promotion, Andrew Carr formerly director of partnerships and alliances EMEA, will see his role formally extended to cover APAC.

Jim Beagle comments: “In the last year, Andrew has had significant successes in developing our partner portfolio around the world. Last month, we announced a deal with cloud specialists Oblak to offer hospitals in the Balkans our Independent Clinical Archive (ICA) in the cloud. With Tony’s new role and focus, Andrew will be better placed to further and strengthen our presence beyond Europe and the Middle East into APAC.”
